Ergonomics can be any service or product designed to enhance an employee's functional capacity at the workplace, resulting in a more proficient, happy and healthy employee. Health & Fitness Solutions, LLC (HFS) is a unique service because of its hands on approach towards stress management. The ergo-stress reduction sessions take 10-20 minutes and can be done in large or small groups. The service is time and cost efficient and combats many facets of stress reduction.

All of the exercises are performed with very low intensity to avoid sweating. Each session will begin with simple dynamic stretches to help improve circulation, flexibility, and release physical and mental stress. Following the dynamic flexibility, postural exercises are performed to enhance the employees posture and to teach sitting, walking, and standing mechanics. Next, static stretches are administered to increase flexibility and induce relaxation. Lastly, a stress management session of meditation, tai chi, and/or words of encouragement can be performed to recharge the employees. There will sometimes be guest presenters who specialize in yoga, dance, stress management, meditation and other topics. As an added benefit, any client of HFS will receive access to the website. The website is loaded with invaluable resources for stress management.

The goals of the ergo-stress reduction session is to allow the employee time to release, relax, and recharge (RRR). After every session, each employee will feel physically and mentally poised and their spirits boosted. If employees are interested, a more complex analysis of functions at the workplace, posture, and specific stretches/exercises can be provided.

 

Ergo-Stress Session Breakdown (ESS)

  • Dynamic, static, and passive stretching

  • Stress Management (diaphragmatic breathing, meditation, muscle tension release, NeuroLinguistic Programming (NLP), tai chi, imagery, and more

Personal Training

The personal training sessions are designed to be short and effective. Each session will be a half hour, which includes at least 5 minutes of passive stretching.

The art dates back to 3,000 years ago when Chinese Emperors used Fung Shui to help win wars. The secrets eventually spread through to the commoners. The method can be used to manipulate the energy flow in an office or building to steer away the negative chi, so that the good chi can promote good business, health, loving relationships, and prosperity.
